Jesus is the light that will overpower and crush the darkness.

I miss this girl terribly.

Walking in what God is calling us to is hard. He doesn’t promise an easy life. Quite the opposite in fact. If you are in a hard place, cling to Him. He is the only thing that keeps us breathing. There are days I yell at The Lord and tell Him that I don’t want to be the one walking through this, I just want my girl back. There are days when I am overwhelmed at His goodness and the way He is opening doors that only HE can open. Today has been a mix of both of those. Missing my girl and in awe at what He is doing through this. We’ve said from the beginning that this is bigger than us. He has a plan that reaches further than we can even imagine. We aren’t strong or brave. Not on our own anyway. We are crushed and broken. He gives us the strength and bravery that we need, even when we feel like we have nothing left.

If you are in the midst of the battle-fix your eyes on Jesus. He can handle every emotion. He has a plan that is good because He is good. In the darkness when life feels like it is crushing you-He is the light that will overpower and crush the darkness.

The ripple effects of this sweet girl’s life and legacy will continue through until the end of time and one day soon we will get to fully see all that was changed and all those whose identity and eternity’s are now in Jesus. All of the pain, every tear and every breathe that we fight to breathe will be so very worth the hard journey. Jesus is good and He is victor.
